G-AMSU (33548) This is the original G-AMSU and not to be confused with the preserved one. Began life with the USAF as 44-77216 it then flew as KP246 with the RAF and then transferred to the civilian register as G-AMSU on 15th May 1951,registered to Meredith Air Transport on 18th September 1952,it went to Air Safaris but I have no date for this,it then was the first Dan Air DC-3 and was registered to them on the 17th June 1953.It was then perminately WFU at Lasham where it was broken up on 26/02/73.
