CF-TCY Former Trans Canada Airlines Lockheed Lodestar CF-TCY is under snail’s pace restoration at the vocational institute at Abbotsford airport. They have been working on the plane for 7 years, and at this rate, will take many years for the restoration to display only condition to be completed.
The students at the vocational school work on the plane as time and instruction allows. The good news is the aircraft is in a dry sheltered environment. The aircraft is owned by the Canadian Museum of Flight at Langley Airport.
It is everyone’s dream for the plane to be restored to static display condition … one day.
