Rejected photo
Hey guys this shot was rejected however the screener gave no reasn as to why and was wondering if anyone could provide some depth on why it might have been.

I am not a sceener but your photo appears tilted (ground is not horizontal). Use the building on the right as reference to "level" the photo. Rotate the photo until the roof line of the building is horizontal.

Rejected photo
Hi Brandon
King is quite right. Although I did not screen it it appears to me to be a little blurry also and I would not have accepted it. Hope this helps. rgds John Wood |

Ok need a little help on this one. How do I get it to a 2:3 Aspect Ratio?

If you still have the original and when you crop the photo have a size 1500 x 1000 would be the correct ratio.
I am using photoshop CS3 1-Put the photo level if required 2-Crop the photo 3-Image size I select 1500 and the system will give the size for the bottom box which could be higher then 1000. 4-Using canvas size , i change the value to 1000, this way I get a picture 1500 X 1000. |

Tjanks for the tips, everyone here and David at work have all been very helpful with helping me figure out photo editing and you can tell an improvement in my releases! I finally figured it out today in GIMP how to do the ratios. I use the freeware editor called GIMP.
