Default What is a "common" subject

To be "common" involves 2 elements: time and place. If one of these elements has changed, the subject is no longer "common".

A DC-3 in 1953 is a common subject.

A DC-3 in 2007 is not a common subject.

In Vancouver, an Air Canada A340 today is a common subject.

In Colombo, Sri Lanka an Air Canada A340 today is not a common subject.

The element of "place" has changed.
