POLL: What brand of digi cameras do people use
I am curious as to what brand of digi camera people use for shooting airline pics. Perhaps the attached poll will be of interest.

I use the Panasonic Lumix FZ7
Hi Dale,
I use the compact Panasonic Lumix FZ7. Its only 6 MP but the shots are pin sharp, although I realize not as good as a 35mm style digi camera. Here is the link to my pics.. all taken with the FZ7: http://airlinefan.com/photosearch.ph...tographer&id=1 I am extremely happy with the camera, but they now have the FZ50 which is 10 MP but rather pricey. So I will probably upgrade to the Lumix DMC-FZ8 which is 7.2 MP. Here's the link: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...al_Camera.html

I am using a DSLR Nikon D70s (see my other post about problems) because:
1. I have lens from my 35mm film Nikon camera 2. Point and shoot digital cameras were (2 years ago now) too slow (I tried Canon and Nikon) The newer DSLR cameras have come down in price since the digital camera lens are made of plastic. They are also a lot lighter in weight. |
