Here is another try to organize a sightseeing flight on an Ilyushin 18 and it may very well be the last chance ever to fly on this beautiful aircraft.

We have the chance to go flying with an Ilyushin 18 on the weekend 29/30 November 2008.

Grixona Airlines, based in Chisinau/Kishinev in Moldova offers us the chance to fly from there to Kiev (with a landing there) and back to Chisinau.

We plan for a departure on sunday morning, 30 November 2008, a 09:00, arriving back in Chisinau in the early afternoon. Photo permissions in both Kiev and Chisinau will be applied for.

The price for a guaranteed window seat for the return flight is 499 EUR and 379 EUR for all remaining seats.

We tried hard to negotiate a cheaper way to fly this beauty, however the operator insisted on at least two flights.

We accept your binding reservation (please do not send any "I might be interested" e-mails) via e-mail until 01 October. Should we have the required minimum number of participants by then, the flight will go ahead as planned and we will supply you with more detailed information.

Until then, please do not book any international flight yet!

Please tell anybody you know who might be interested in such a flight and also remind them of the 01 October deadline.

We would be delighted if this flight could go ahead, as it seems unlikely that the Ilyushin 18 will still be flying in Moldova next year.
